1. The First Conversation

We start with a call. Before any felt is ordered or any brim is cut, we talk. A quick phone call lets us discuss what you're looking for — the styles you like, the shapes you don't, and the purpose behind your hat. This is where your vision becomes the blueprint.

2. Deposit & Felt Selection

Once we settle on the direction, I take a 50% non-refundable deposit and order your felt. This ensures your materials are reserved and your build is officially underway. You choose the color and quality you want — I'll guide you through the options.

3. The Sizing Kit

I mail you a custom sizing kit to capture your exact head shape and measurements. This is how I make sure your hat fits comfortably, stays put, and feels like it was always yours — built around your shape, not a generic size.

4. Crafting Your Hat

Once your measurements arrive, I build a custom brim block to match your head. From there: steam shaping the crown, cutting and sanding the brim, forming the curl, setting the crease, adding the hatband, and final detailing. Every step done by hand, one hat at a time. No shortcuts. No mass production.

5. Final Video Review

When your hat is complete, we schedule a video call. You get to see it up close, ask questions, and request any last-minute adjustments before it leaves the shop.

6. Final Payment & Delivery

Final payment is due when your hat is ready to ship. I use UPS — they've proven to be the most reliable with the best rates for safe, insured shipping. Your hat arrives ready to wear, shaped, finished, and built to last.
