01 Choose your style & crown

Choose the shape you like. The crown is the top of the hat, so this choice sets both the style and crown. These illustrations are a guide; Jim confirms the finished proportions.

02 Choose a brim

Keep the suggested brim or try a different shape. Adjust the size below to see a narrower or wider brim without changing the crown.

Measured outward from the crown. This is a preference, not a cutting measurement. Jim confirms sizing and whether the selected shape works with your felt.

03 Choose felt & color

The felt sets the starting price; your style does not change it. Choose a shade below, and Jim will confirm availability before the deposit.

Guide prices are based on the felt type. Special bands, buckles, liners, cases, and other extras can change the final price.

Rabbit shades may vary between standard and grizzly finishes. Tell Jim your preferred finish in the final step so he can confirm availability.

Not all colors are available in each felt type. Supply for some colors is limited, and an unavailable color may have an extended lead time of up to 12 months. After you submit, Jim will confirm availability and suggest alternatives or updates. Screen colors are approximate; Jim confirms the actual swatch before ordering.

04 Fit & finishing

Add your head measurement if you know it, choose a band, and tell Jim about any extras. You can send a request without knowing every detail.
